About Me

My name is Ashraf, an enthusiastic traveller and backpacker from Baghdad, Iraq. I am a person who fell in love with travelling and exploring around the world which meant that I never came back the same person, but my long journey has uplifted my spirit and made me more energetic, more self-aware, more open and have more self-confidence and eager to explore more.

Ever since I left my country because of war, I have lived and travelled to many countries and not forgetting to mention that Couchsurfing have helped me meet amazing people from different cultures and backgrounds. For that reason I am on a long journey to hopefully one day I can return and live in my country like I used to. Meanwhile, you will have a great time, staying with me/hosting me or just meeting me in the city.
