I am a pretty relaxed guy, who enjoys travelling as much as my banker let me do so before starting to send stressful emails and calls. I've always had a thing for art, for books in general, but cinema is also always on my mind. I like to socialize and meet new people (otherwise I probably won't be on here, let's be honest). I'm not loud and obnoxious though. I mean, I'm not the kind of guy you'll find all drugged up knocking at your neighbours door at 7AM because you're out of milk. Or something.
What I'm trying to say is that I'm normal. Normal and fun. Possibly funny too (especially when I'm able to put my non-funny jokes on the account of the language barrier).
I love a good discussion. Seriously, I like when it gets a little heated and ends up in friendly insults. But isn't that the only way to really talk about something?
I'm not selling myself very well up here. But trust me, I'm a nice guy. Come and meet me, you'll see. I might even put a nice pack of coffee/beers in your fridge. That is if you're a nice person too. which you are.
Enjoying life and making some sort of difference. Sounds corny and cliché? True. But you got to admit that it kind of sounds appealing too. In the end, what's more important than having a nice life (apart from good food. obviously)!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This will be my first experience in couch surfing through the website. I have done some, through friends, connections etc. It always goes well, especially when the host is nice and willing to have some fun (which you obviously will be, as you're all nice people)
Vast subject. In all randomness: books (out of which I hope to make a career), films (with a tendency to watch mostly American and French. bad habit.), art, cooking...you fill in the rest. this is just too humiliating of obviousness.
Music, Movies, and Books
Oh I see. so I sort of mixed that up with the "interests" section. Great job me. Well then, here are a couple of each: There will be blood (film), Michael Chabon (books), Serge Gainsbourg (music), Les chansons d'amour (film), Albert Camus (books), Animal Collective (music)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have worked for Dave Eggers. Seen The Flaming Lips in concert. Painted chairs in a Berlin Café. Worked in a French restaurant in London and in an Italian restaurant in France. Been to countries and tasted their food.
Oh also, I saw a shark. once.
