"Some misplaced Joan of Arc"
I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil - where the theater is bold and so are the women. I am a theater maker, currently living in Los Angeles and finishing my Bachelor's at CalArts.
When I was a kid I wanted to be either an actress, a detective or an archaeologist. My favorite color is red. My spirit animal is a fox. If it matters to you, I'm an Aries/Scorpio rising.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I truly believe that the best way to get to know a new place is to get to know locals. Though Couchsufing I hope to meet new people that can show me the best things their cities have to offer. I would also love to exchange knowledge and just hang out.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: pretty much anything from 1895 to late 50's, early 60's. I especially love Film Noir, German films from practically all eras, the big trilogies (Star Wars, Back to the Future and Indiana Jones - the 4th one doesn't count). Basically, I'm into everything that's good and doesn't make your brain melt. Except for old B movies, which are brilliant.
Music: mostly jazz, classic rock, 50's rock, klezmer, soundtracks (especially from Westerns!), chanson, classical and my guilty pleasure: German cabaret songs from the 20's/30's. Some of my favorite artists: The Doors, Patti Smith, Ute Lemper, The Cramps, Nina Simone, Ástor Piazzolla, Pink Floyd, Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, David Bowie, Damien Rice.
Books: pulp fictions/noir novels. And great authors like Ernest Hemingway, Hermann Hesse, Virginia Woolfe, Marguerite Duras, etc. I also read lots of plays, so expect to find in my collection some Tennessee Williams, Shakespeare, Brecht, Edward Albee, Sarah Kane, Chekhov, among others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure if I've ever done something "amazing", but sewing my own clothes, learning how to build furniture, being self-taught in accordion and producing my colleague's plays have been a few of my accomplishments.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you the accordion, how to speak Portuguese, how to sew, how to bake homemade bread. I can also talk to you about movies, art, literature, theater, politics, international conflicts, my home country, side show circus acts, my fear of mannequins, and anything else you're interested in.
