ABOUT ME

Hello people out there !!
My name is Theresa, but all the persons in my surroundings are calling me Teda. My well beloved friends, my parents, even my teachers or the head of the restaurant I worked in during my time in school did it. Actual, I'm not used to Theresa, so sometimes I don't even react when somebody is calling me by my normal name ;D
I'm 22 years old and my 18 year old brother is the most important person in my life. I'm really close to my friends back home in Germany, they are something like the family I chose. Bevor I started travelling I was with them every single day, we always hang out together, doing music, playing playstation or just sitting in a café, chatting and laughing. Because of all the time I spent with them every day, it's a little bit strange for me without them sometimes and I really miss them a lot! But now, this is my time, just for finding me and realizing things I have to realize.
At the moment I'm travelling trough South America together with Franziska. In total 8 month, at the moment we are in Argentina to spend our last one and a half months there. When I'm back home I will work a lot for a half year to have enough money to travel to Australia for four months next february together with one of my best friends :)

PHILOSOPHY

Living a life together with beloved people makes everything better. It's always hard to deal with other persons, but when you are able to do it, it enriches every part of your life. But you also need time just for yourself, to be able to focus totally just on you, to reflect everything, to deal with the voices from deep inside you. This is so hard but also so important. You should not try to compensate your problems by holding on a relationship, at first you should try to love yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to offer you a nice place to stay in the middle of the amazing and beautiful bavarian forest, and I would like to stay at your couch for saving money during travelling :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, for example: at the moment we are staying at the flat of a friend of us in the middle of buenos aires ! Sleeping on a mattress, having the comfortable autonomy of a own kitchen, staying in piyamas until 3 in the afternoon and leaving the flat whenever we want to. But I have to say, I'm totally used to the couch-sleeping live, because of all the nights I spent at the houses of friends :)

Interessen

Especially every stuff I can do with the people I love: going out, chilling at a lake, going snowboarding together with them etc

I'm really interested in animals, I love them, then I love reading, I love travelling but I also love being at home :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music nearly everything, depends on the actual mood :)
I love reading, but I do not have enough time to do it frequently at the moment. I love Hermann Hesse. He was an awesome author !
And movies: I love Horror ! The creepy stuff but also the very funny movies. For example the Jerry Zucker movies :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I don't like this question :D Every little thing can be amazing. Normally I'm amazed by little things: while a big antique stonebuilding bores me, a little dogpuppet fascinates me. And especially all the amazing moments with my friends :)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Of course I have to share a lot of love :D to be honest: I think I have no special skills, I can play Steirische (a traditional bavarian instrument) but what is more interesting: I can teach you the relaxed and funny way of live, true friendship and I can show you the german beer, traditions and behaviors :)

I would like to learn different ways of living a good life and new perspectives :)
