ABOUT ME

Grew up in eastern ND in a very travel-oriented household (my dad budgets his life around being able to see more of the world by hosteling). Was a foreign exchange student during my junior year of high school in North Rhein Westphalia. Went there with very little German under my belt, but learned it really quickly thanks to the people that I met. Spent the next 13 years working in offices of University of Minnesota offices striving to be the most resource admin support person imaginable. I don't travel enough, but when I do, I try to make it as exchange-rich as I can. Currently I'm studying urban and regional planning at the Humphrey Institute, focusing on land use planning and urban design.
