About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Changing the World, one couch at a time :-)

ABOUT ME

Easy going, fun, smart and adventurous, I yanked up all my roots, put everything in storage and am looking for where in the world I will next make my base, having been between London and LA for half my life. I'm interested in checking out what Berlin has to offer me while I'm waiting for a tv series and my book to get out there into the world - an event that will quite possibly determine how I live out the next part of my life!

PHILOSOPHY

If you don't want it said to you, don't say it to someone else. If you wouldn't want it done to you, don't frikkin' do it to them! It's a no-brainer, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to pitch in with whatever is needed. Having owned my own homes, I'm extremely respectful of other people's spaces and always leave them better, cleaner, nicer than before I arrived, if possible! I've had every time of animal in my lifetime - from fish to rabbits to dogs, cats, toucans, parrots, all types of birds and beasts - so am very animal friendly, and know how to take care of them! Likewise for plants and gardening - and am always happy to lend a hand to other living things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've truly had the couch surfing experience in the last month! Hopping from family members to friends as I wait for the Rubik's cube of my life to click into place!

Interests

I'm super eclectic and open to most stuff from cozy-delicious and quiet to wild, curious and downright odd! I'm an adventurous soul with a grounded personality.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love In The Time of Cholera is my hands-down all-time favourite book, for sure! I have waaaay too many movies that I adore, of all genres, periods and styles - am a sucker for a good scary movie, but unfortunately there aren't too many good ones out there - so I'm gonna have to make one, one day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been really lucky in my career to travel to and experience places in ways most people haven't. I've set a lizard, ear-marked to have its blood drained to cure asthma (really!) free under the stars in the Moroccan desert with the whole crew singing "Born Free", and spent weeks in Cuba seeing things that the public aren't allowed into. Lucky lucky me!

Teach, Learn, Share

Apart from my film experiences, I enjoy all things "spiritual" - and am curious about everything from coffee cup reading (I had an amazing one recently in Istanbul!) to Shamans. I'm also a Theta Healer (check out www.thetaworks.co.uk), a kick-ass tarot reading, and love exchanging massage (which apparently I'm good at too!)
