Hello! I'm Tommy, I'm currently living in the United Kingdom however I'm all booked and ready to fly to Sydney landing on the 7th of October.

It's been a crazy year for me and after a bit of reflection I've decided the corporate life is not for me and I'm in need of an adventure.

I'm a huge animal lover, I love being outdoors, going for treks and discovering new places. I love nothing more than meeting new people - my friends have nicknamed me Fenton due to the fact I'll usually be found making friends with various different people on a night out. I've travelled a little bit - I spent a month in Namibia doing project work and trekking when I was younger, I've seen a lot of Europe and a brief trip to NYC.

I try and do my bit for charity having recently ran a Tough Mudder for prostate cancer, started training as a first responder (which is unfortunately now on hold until after my trip to Australia) and I am looking to get involved with my local homeless charity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I fell into the corporate life at a young age but I've never really felt at home here. Nestled up in a blanket of security its easy to get sucked in to and hard to get out of. After a car accident earlier this year, I did a bit of reflecting and decided I needed to go on an adventure, meet some incredible people and see some amazing places.

I have a huge range in terms of my music taste, from house to metal to pop (I have a secret soft spot for Taylor Swift), movies - In to the Wild is my all time favourite with Anchorman coming a close second, Books - Sherlock Holmes, Stephen King, Ian Banks (again pretty varied!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved an old mans entire life savings from fraudsters who had targetted him because of his dementia whilst working at a bank. Luckily I spotted a few warning signs, took him into an office and got the police involved before handing over the money he had requested.

Trekked fish river canyon, built a waterhole from scratch with a team for local wildlife in Etosha national park, sand dune boarding and much more :)
