About Me

My goal this year has been to live as if I'm not making 25, and I'm 24 so I need to be squeezing the best from the time I have left!

When I was working in the housing association I balanced work with regular London excursions for raving- my technique for maintaining a healthy mind -although it doesn't work for maintaining a healthy body-.
After quitting I spent summer sailing, festivalling, and meandering around the Balkans and the Baltics before emigrating to the USA in September. I plan to move to San Fran in October and see what happens.
My urge to break away wasn't due to any unhappiness with the UK or my lifelong connections there; I just know it's there for me whenever I need it so I may as well throw my chips in now when I can't lose.

Grateful humanist who recently left a job in the social sector. I love snowboarding and hitch hiking, and really want to learn how to roller skate.

In 2013/2014 I road tripped, worked, and hitch hiked up and down some of the east coast of Oz from Noosa Heads QLD, through Brisbane, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Sydney NSW, Nowra, Merimubula, Melbourne VIC, to Adelaide SA. I worked as a paintball referee, Ferris wheel ride attendant, gardener, cleaner and barman.

Veggie, liberal, humanist.
-If you're not imposing on anyone else, you should be free to do what you want.-

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Home surfers if I can, meet for drinks and advise if I can't.

I have hosted Hyunseung Cha when I was lucky enough to have a flat in Sydney, and have been homed by Kris Moyes and her family in Nowra on my hitch hike South.
Alissa Trouillet, Amber Reggiatore and myself camped in Jarvis Bay for a week after meeting on couchsurfing.
I have met couchsurfers for days trekking in the Royal National Park, for gatherings in Melbourne, and also for watching Game of Thrones because my hostel didn't have foxtel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To save gloating on this section I'll write about one amazing thing I have witnessed.
During a roadtrip from Sydney to Byron Bay 2 Germans, a Frenchie and myself ended up accidentally swimming with dolphins and within 30m of whales in Booti Booti National Park during a surf session. Only a couple of 100m off shore of an empty, picturesque, white sandy beach. Beautiful.

And I have incredibly low expectations when I am hosted so you can only surpass them. 😁
