About Me

CURRENT MISSION

love people

ABOUT ME

My husband and I have graduated from Seattle Pacific University. I was interested in Visual Communication - design/video/graphic stuff. He was into the philosophy side as well as educational ministries. We both love working with kids from toddler to high school.

PHILOSOPHY

We feel much purpose in life to love others, serve others. I like to live simply and economically because I hope to use what I have to share with others. We want to use our personal gifts - art/philosophy/ministry to serve. We also want to continue learning.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We just started!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I actually stayed with SPU faculty - a married couple in Seattle. It was great. We had family dinners, watched movies together and old tv shows like the A Team and The Hulk. I also spent plenty of time with Snickers, the family dog. Me and my house mate would often do Dance Dance Revolution together. She would play piano and I would play guitar. We would tour around the city together and just share fun adventuring times.

Interests

Good Will shopping, guitar, singing, art, city life, hiking, outdoors, church ministry, God, family, street culture, World cultures...

Music, Movies, and Books

C.S. Lewis books, Harry Potter, The Bible (really like 1 Corinthians, the Gospels, Romans, James...), Lord of The Rings. Music - swing/hiphop/world music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've seen parts of Europe. He's been down to Mexico, but I've never been down to Central or South America. We've seen a different culture that I feel may be overlooked - which is street cultures. I think both of us are very interested and spend time getting to know the homeless commmunity in the Seattle area and feel like we learn so much from it.
