Overview
About Me
Funny, slightly crazy, interesting and kind person -- I hope!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I lived overseas for over 10 years and love connecting with people from all over the world. I've also been very fortunate to have befriended some amazing people on these journeys and want to give the same experience to travelers visiting my crazy city.
Interests
I love the outdoor lifestyle and heading off the beaten path when I'm there. I also admit to being a dork. Reading, chess--yeah, you name it. (My chess skills suck, but I'm always up for a game!)
By the way, I live in Harlem now, not Brooklyn.
- chess
- reading
- outdoor activities
- camping
- snorkeling
Music, Movies, and Books
The Two Income Trap, everything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, everything by Noam Chomsky, La Peste (and perhaps everything by Camus). .... this is an extensive list!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life is AWEsome, but it's really what you make of it. I've had many awestruck moments. Off the top of my head, I'd say snorkeling above Zenobia, which I hope to fully explore one day; arriving one early morning at a shrine in Kyoto (wish I could remember its name)--one of those you had to be there moments and spending the night at the first base camp of Mt Everest.
What I Can Share with Hosts
