ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm Sammy :)
I love socialising and meeting new people. My biggest ambition is just to travel the world - i want to see the beautiful sights and create memories to last a life time. I would love to have someone to do this with but unfortunately none of my friends are in a position to go with me at the moment, so i figure it's time to be brave and go out alone in the world :).

I'm currently in Australia and have been since November. I've pretty much spent most of my time working in Melbourne. One of the most exciting things i've done here is hold a Koala - being a brit and growing up only seeing pictures of these cute animals that are the other side of the world made it a pretty exciting event for me!!

PHILOSOPHY

I think having people you love and care about in your life is mainly what it is about. It's important to treat everyone as you would like to be treated - everyone is a human being after all and has feelings. My aim in life is just to be happy, be healthy and be loved.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i still count myself as pretty new to this. I've surfed a few couches so far and now I've settled down in Melbourne to work for a while i am just starting to be able to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It was recommended to me by a friend ahead of my trip to Australia, so i signed up and started meeting people as soon as i got here!!
I think the whole concept of it is brilliant! There's nothing like being shown around a city by someone who actually knows the area.

I've made some amazing friends and had some amazing experiences from couch surfing :D

Interests

I like going to the cinema, i love reading, i love seeing and trying new things - although i have to admit i'm not so brave when it comes to food, with that i like to stick to what i know and i'm a complete wimp with spicy food!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Harry Potter - the films and the books. I enjoy watching the twilight films - the books were good but i don't think they were as clever as Harry Potter! I like disney films, funny films, romantic films, action films - anything really except horror films!!
With music - i prefer pop and most things that are in the charts. I'm not really a fan of hip hop, rap and all that jazz!

How do you even choose?!
Walking the Sydney Harbour Bridge was pretty amazing. I think the best of my travels is yet to come though :)

The most important thing i have learnt is that life is short. It's too short to argue and not get on with people, and it's too short to not follow your dreams and ambitions and not jump at the chances to reach your goals.
