Overview
About Me
Hi, I was born in Wales then moved to England and then to Scotland, where I've been for 10 years. I've just graduated from Uni and now I'm hoping to travel around Europe for the summer (and possibly beyond), finding casual work where possible to keep me on my feet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing because when I move to a new city I'd like to spend the first night staying with somebody who lives there finding out about the area, and the best places to stay and find work.
Interests
I really got into kayaking at Uni, mostly on white water and surfing but I've also played a bit of kayak polo. I like teaching myself musical instruments, playing board games, reading, watching tv and films, and fire spinning. Swimming in the sea, rivers and lakes is exciting too.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite band is Walk Off the Earth. I'm into most music until I hear it too often and then decide I never liked it. My preferred genre for books is sci-fi and fantasy but I've been reading since a young child and find that any book grabs my attention almost immediately. I have similar preferences for tv and films, surreal tv shows and films are among my favourite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a Scout expedition to Botswana for five weeks. We stayed in tents, cooked for large groups on a big fire pit, and built an ablutions block and community centre with local Scouts.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to speak more languages so will always be trying and often failing to make sense in the language of the country I'm in, but practice makes perfect.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I took a module on dinosaurs in University so I can talk about them a lot. Everyone loves dinosaurs.
