Currently I am preparing for my backpacking trip through the USA
Hey! My name is Tim, I’m a twenty-one year old Student from the middle of Germany. I would like to meet interesting, adventurous people from all over the world. It’s hard to describe oneself in such a short manner, but I am often said to be open-minded, honest and nearly always in a good mood. Also, I would say that I am good humored and adventurous. I love to share fun, new experiences and spend evenings talking or discussing all kinds of issues and topics.
study hard but party harder!!!
My favourite poem:
Look to this day!
For it is life, the very life of life,
In its brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existence:
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendor of beauty,
For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow only a vision,
But today well lived makes every yesterday
a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day!
Such is the salutation of the dawn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend of mine introduced me to this platform, and this is my first time using it. I registered because I am going to be backpacking across the USA. After my trip I am also open to, and would like to host people in my apartment in Osnabrück.
I love it to spend the evening outside, in a small bar or in the appartment with my roommates. Talking about world philosphies and other things, is in my opinion a great evening.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite artist is Cro, a German singer-songwriter. I love the book 'The Angels Game'by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and 'kingdom of heaven' is my favorite movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have traveled to many different amazing places in Europe: Czech Republic, Switzerland,Croatia, Ireland, France. It is unbelieveable how different people and theri cultures are, even within Europe. I also took part in student exchanges where I had the chance to see the life and traditions in different countries. Threrefore, I see this as a chance to have mroe of these experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
teach, learn, share sounds like worldly widsoms or pesonal philosphys in itself. I would like to learn from people who have seen more of the world that I have. I would love to learn more about cultures, traditoins and perspectives of the world.
