About Me

Hello! I'm Tim. I'm 31 years old and I'm really easy going and friendly. I can get on well with anyone and find pleasure in the smallest things. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always like to live abroad due to the quality of life it affords and the awesome people I get to meet. I'm registered as living in Warrington, UK, and that is where my parents live, but I'm always out and about.

I'm in the UK at the moment due to family commitments and while I'm here I'd like to visit some of the European cities that I've never been to. And I can't think of a better way of doing it than staying with some cool local people.

Once I move back out of the UK later this year, I will rent an apartment in an exotic country and return the favour! I'd offer for you to stay at my parent's house but it would be a bit lame. You don't want that!

Interests

I'm extremely interested in history, both ancient and modern. Politics, science, old things, hiking, nature, computers. It's a bit boring to just reel off a list but suffice to say I'm interested in pretty much anything, apart from football, that is. Had a hard day at work? Tell me about your job. I'd probably get a kick out of hearing how it works.

I think there's beauty in everything. It just takes a closer look and a willingness to see!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste in music but my choice of literature and films definitely has a post-apocalyptic bent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know about amazing but my favourite experience was probably my ski season in Val D'Isere. I did it in my early twenties and it was truly the making of me. It taught me to be responsible, gave me confidence and showed me how awesome it can be to live abroad.

What I Can Share with Hosts
