To find my place in the world.
My friend once wrote on a rental application form that I am "the cleanest person he knows" haha!
However, on a slightly more 'serious' note:
I try my best to make myself an open book to others. Your experiences make you who you are. I accept the outrageous, the dangerous, the vast unknown, as well as the responsible adult deep inside me. Don't know how that got there.
Conversely, I refuse to let myself become ashamed of the person who I am today. What's important is that I'm becoming more and more self-aware. I'm constantly learning. And meeting my fellow human beings, from so many different and exotic places, allows me more insight into my own life.
On the flip side, I've learned that you can't always be so serious in life! Why must some dwell on all the negative aspects of reality? It makes you overlook the beautiful... The bizarre... The sheer ridiculousness of our existence!
These are some of my modalities. I tend to let others control the switch. This means I prefer to not adjudicate social situations, because I can adapt to different wave-lengths. I'm a team player.
Can't we all just get along?!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've always wanted to open my home to potentials. It just so happens that I'm starting out with the shoe on the other foot!
Not knowing is just another opportunity to learn!
I find myself constantly gravitating towards anything related to The Arts. This became more apparent when I decided to start taking dancing 'more seriously', by frequenting classes, and regularly seeking opportunities to learn from dancers from all over the world.
I've found myself in a culture so diverse and interesting, that life would seem less moving without. Unsurprising, then, that I enjoy going out on the town to tear up the dance floor; not because I'm competitive, or want to show-off, but because it puts me back in the zone of what's purely fun for me. I've found a way to simultaneously get fit and stay active, challenge me physically, inspire me creatively, and encourage confidence.
I also find karaoke fun, and a light-hearted way for anyone to enjoy themselves. The trick is to not take yourself to seriously!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My life seems to be on overdrive at the moment. It spent so long on loop after I finished studying; working three jobs, in order to save 'enough' money for what was to happen next.
Right now, I'm traveling through Europe, the United States, and South America. I've always had this overwhelming urge to go out and find my place in this big, wide world. There have been moments equally amazing, and disastrous.
Whether it be walking across the border between Macedonia and Greece, fighting to survive La Tomatina in Spain, or having the most amazing chance adventures meeting incredibly kind people, after becoming stranded - there are stories to tell. But, better done so in person, I say ;)
