About Me

To utilize quantum mechanics to accelerate the ageing of fine scotch.

I'm a 50%/50% split between dangerously curious nerd and incorrigible rock'n'roll meltdown who's idea of a perfect day involves dismantling and reverse-engineering a perfectly good piece of technology, reconceptualizing it's purpose, subverting it to my will, accidentally lighting a fire which destroys the whole project, and, resigned to failure, heading off to drink exquisite and arcane whiskey and cheap beer while bathing in a wash of obscene and beautiful sound from a good band.

Live fully in the now, respect fully the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just discovered the project, and I feel like a whole new universe of potential adventures just opened up. I'm on vacation for a few weeks, but I can't wait to offer up the most comfortable couch in the universe once I get back in September.

Over a half-dozen of my closest friends have lived on my couch for periods extending from 3-weeks to 6-months. I can't remember a time in my life when my apartment wasn't a waystation of some kind for wayward, wonderful folks.

Bikes and cycling, mechanics, design (all kinds), quality (of the Zen and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance variety), adventure, and the fine random filaments of random experience that life perpetually extends.

Following those threads.
