A smart guy with a diverse set of interests. I live in a modest ground-floor appartment (that means with a small yard - yay), and it is only about 100 meters/yards from the water.
I like bicycling, skateboarding, bike polo, kayaking (I have a 2-seater inflatable), chess, going to see our various outdoor concerts in the summer, and ski in the winter.
I have a modest ground-floor appartment, but I love the location: I'm 100m from the water. So I just step out my door, to go swimming, kayaking/canoeing, play soccer, go fishing, or just walk my little dog. And all shops and restaurants are close by as well.
I'm a work from home dad (forex trader), but one week out of every two, my daughter leaves to be with her mom, and it would be nice to fill that lone time with some company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a great way to enable more of us to travel, discover people, and the micro-culture of a local community.
