Do what you can when you can and always have a good time.
Relaxed, quiet and adventurous. I make a habit of getting myself lost in a place I have never been and just wander around for hours.
I like to live in the moment. If you spend too much time looking ahead you'll miss what's around you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for a way to travel in which I am more surrounded by the culture of the place I'm visiting. Hostels tend to separate travelers from the community.
I enjoy a variation of activities. One can often find me staying late at the wood shop working on my own little projects. If I'm not there than I am most likely up on the mountain side either playing disc golf or mountain biking. In the winter I love to play ice hockey on the pond. (I'm pretty bad for a Canadian though)
Music, Movies, and Books
country, classic rock, rap, classical, alternative, blues, blue grass, heavy metal. (Anything that isn't mainstream and lifeless)
Enjoy reading historical fiction and books on theology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Summiting the highest peak in the region and seeing the grand Vista. (For a moment before my legs began to freeze due to the knee deep snow.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn about anything and everything. Knowledge is the key to understanding. And I like understanding things whether it be the aerodynamics of a plane or how carbon dating works on fossilized bones
What I Can Share with Hosts
Aside from providing interesting conversation I have a nack for fixing all sorts of broken things from toilets to cabinets and doors. I would be more than willing to try and help where I can.
Countries I’ve Visited
Botswana, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Namibia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia
