I'm a 19 year old from Sweden who loves to travel the world and usually books tickets on a whim. Right now I'm taking two independent courses at the University of Lund - Japanese and Chinese. I've never couch surfed before, but I'm looking forward to trying it out sometime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had the pleasure of meeting friendly people on my previous adventures and I've grown to like the social part of traveling alone as much as going around and actually seeing and doing different things. As stated in my "about me", I've never done this before but my motto in life is to try everything at least once if given the opportunity, and this is one of the things I'd like to try.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much anything as long as it sounds good, genre doesn't matter.
Don't have a particular favorite movie, but I almost exclusively watch comedy, horror and romance flicks.
I haven't read as much as I'd like to lately, but I do enjoy a good book. Same as the others, I don't have a favorite but I mostly read fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's a lot to choose and hard to pick the single most amazing thing I've done. Instead I'll just recap the past 12 months as it's been one hell of a year for me.
I graduated high school, got my driver's license, traveled to 4 different countries in 3 different continents, started university, started learning 2-3 languages (not sure if I should count one), lost quite a few kilos and tripled my social circle.
Amazing or not, it's been a blast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have enough life experience to teach anyone yet, but I have been fortunate enough to meet two people who taught me some important life lessons that I could pass on.
"Everything that you feel and the way you perceive things are just a bunch of thoughts. Stopping yourself from doing something you want to because you could think of a few things that would stand in your way, will only hinder you from doing what it is that truly makes you happy."
"There is no need to decide on one thing to do for the rest of your life. Do whatever you want to and don't be afraid of failure, things will somehow work out in the end if you try to do something about it."
