I seek to meet people, greet people and explore the world as cheaply and as socially as I can, so really, this is perfect for me!

ABOUT ME

Well, I consider myself, and am considered by others, as a laid back kind of guy with a good sense of humour. I like to be creative and make YouTube videos which I feel give an accurate enough representation of myself if you'd like to find out what that is, my channel name is TimSpeaking. I am a student of anthropology which is the study of people and culture and this interest in other people ties in with my desire to travel and see more of the world. I have a lot of ideas of what I will do with my future, hopefully something creative like writing but before settling down to something like that, I want to see a lot of the world and I believe this is a good way to do it! I would be so excited to meet lots of people through this and as would my girlfriend who will hopefully travel with me sometimes. She's completely lovely too. Like, I mean, super lovely. Another thing about me is I don't really like talking about myself so I'll end it here, but I'm sure I'll get to know people much better than just on a website soon enough!

PHILOSOPHY

The most defining philosophy of mine is that I am a Christian. I wouldn't like to deter anyone from me because of that, I am not the type to judge, but with this belief comes the philosophies of kindness, generosity, care and generally love towards others, and a keen desire to help others enjoy themselves as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not sure what "participate" refers to in this question. I would participate in both providing a great time for anyone who would come to stay with me, as well as participate in whatever hosts would plan for me. Although I can be lazy when it comes to work, I am not lazy when it comes to doing interesting and fun things and will always be up for something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time joining couch surfing. I had heard of it a long time ago but only recently, when I hitch-hiked a lift from a couch surfer that I learned all about it and had to join! I hope it will be a fulfilling experience!

Interessi

I love movies, comedy, music (especially jazz), rock climbing, almost any other extreme sports, or at least I'm up for trying them. Although saying all this, I also enjoy just relaxing and talking and generally joking about.

Musica, film e libri

My interest in movies especially is perhaps too broad. I watch an awful lot of movies! To list a few favourites from a range of genres, I love Tarrentino movies, 500 days of summer, Napoleon Dynamite, Panic Room, Usual Suspects, The Shawshank Redemption and many many more, but I won't bore you with that. I just love film.

Books, I absolutely love reading but only when I find the book very interesting, otherwise to be honest, I'm not a big reader. Exceptions include the Harry Potter series(obviously), a series of unfortunate events and others.

I also love Jazz, acoustic, folk, blues, funk and several other genres of music.
