Philosophy: Learn, laugh, live, love.
About me: I am an easygoing person. I have an incessant desire to discover, seek, search and experience life to it's fullest. I love meeting new people and exploring new cultures, especially tasting any cuisine new to my palate. I love to talk about almost anything but more so, listen to different perspectives on life such as painted tales of traveling storytellers. I love learning new things and being introduced to new realms of ideas, from astrophysics to cultural anthropology, poetry to microbiology. I am a lover of quotes but horribly fail at reciting them verbatim.
Favorite quote: "We are 90% alike and 10% different. The 10% of difference is a gift to others."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
How I participate in Couchsurfing: I love to travel & learn. I can contribute to this community by sharing my knowledge, experience, and story.
Couchsurfing experience: I never hosted anyone in my own home, but I do find having been a guest, one of the best experiences in my lifetime. I have been extremely lucky with my Couchsurfing hosts, who have been purely gracious and amazing people. If you find yourself in any town, it's worth it to meet locals for a drink or stroll around the city; they can offer precious insider information about their city, a nice chat and invaluable company.
Honestly, too many! The beach. Dancing & singing. Learning how to play the guitar. Playing the piano. I have a great appreciation for poetry, movies, books, the great outdoors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing things happen everyday right in front of our eyes, from the grandeur to the mere simplistic. I've been blessed to visit the fascinating ancient city of Machu Picchu, witnessed the miraculously preserved glacier Perrito Moreno in Patagonia as well as seen the mysterious Moai statues on the magical Polynesian Easter Island. I taught English in a poverty stricken shanty town in the outskirts of a Chilean suburban sprawl with some of the sweetest, exuberant and modest children. I've been lucky to surround myself with great people throughout my lifetime who've passionately banded together for a worldwide humanitarian mission.
