About Me

ABOUT ME

Hallo, hello, salut, こんにちは、你好,ciao, hola!

We are two Austrian girls and best friends (Saskia/21 & Tina/24), planning an amazing summer trip to the US in 2013! We are pretty awesome and amazing and it's absolutely worth getting to know us. We both live in Vienna, Austria, on of the most beautiful capitals in the world! We both already did our share of travelling (together and individually, especially Europe and New Zealand) and now we are keen on meeting more and more people via couchsurfing! As you see, we have basic knowledge of various languages and are also able to communicate without any language knowledge - that's how awesome we are.
We are more than fun to be around and you would highly regret not letting us surf at your place!

Interests

We are really interested in travelling the world and meeting awesome people - like you! Besides that, we are really into books, movies, writing, laughing, chatting, taking pictures, shopping aaaaaaand Animes and Mangas. We are quite talk-active and bubbly and we LOVE watching TV series like Once Upon A Time, How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives. Besides all that superficial stuff, we are also culturally, politically and historically interested.
Especially American, British and Asian cultures have caught our heart...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) New Zealand: we went on a tour on the South Island, which is one of the most amazing places we have seen so far. We especially enjoyed the city of Dunedin with its chocolate factory and our whale watching trip. The NZ landscape and coast line is breath-takingly beautiful and left us amazed.

2) London: we spent one week in London together, checking out the city and the coolest sights and shops, grabbing breakfast at Starbucks every morning, enjoying the unexpected sunshine and heat! And many, many hours were spent at the biggest book store in Europe...

3) Always hunting for rays of sunshine in rainy and foggy Austrian falls, we even went on a three hour long car trip to the mountains after three weeks without sun - feeling the warm rays after such a long time was definitely worth almost getting ourselves killed on the road (but we are safe drivers!). We love summer and miss the ocean desperately (which is horrible, considering that Austria doesn't have an ocean...) - but we have one nice, wide lake quite close, which we drive to regularly in summer.

Despite one day or three weeks, despite our own country or a different continent, being together and experiencing everything the world has to offer is the biggest gift of all.
