COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept in the houses of crust punks, millionaires, and everything in between. I prefer the places where the company is friendly and easy-going.
That is really all that I require to feel safe and happy.

My favorite genre of movie is dark comedy, but that changes with my mood and whatever is happening at the time. I love surrealist and Indie films as well, and hold a special place in my heart for old cinema.
My favorite types of music are heavy/death/black/hair/industrial metal, old school punk rock, death rock/gothic, and new wave.
Books: Oh man! Let's talk. Books are the love of my life. Right before I hit the road, I was working at Powells City of Books in Portland, Oregon, which is the largest used book store in the world. I tend to read more non-fiction than fiction, but am an avid reader of both. Right now I am reading a People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, and RE/SEARCH #12 Modern Primitives: An Investigation of Contemporary Adornment and Ritual.

I'm just gonna go ahead and leave this one blank until we're hanging out. The spontaneous "pack up and leave in the middle of the day just because I feel like it" lifestyle has lead to the most beautiful and horrendous of experiences, in damn near equal measure.
