Music, Movies, and Books
I don't read many books, though I have been working on changing that in the last few months. I've recently read Blood Brothers, and The Bookseller of Kabul.
I love a wide variety of music, I'm not a person who can really list off favorite bands, but anything that has a beat that makes you want to move is good :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to the most remote, rural Mexican village and lived there for 3 weeks. What a culture shock! I was simply known as "La Guera" even if people knew my name.
Going to a club in Bethlehem with my friends and driving back at 5am through the mountains as the world around us was just waking up again, amazing feeling!
Trying to sneak into Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem on one of the holiest day during Ramadan.
Racing secret police through Ramallah!
Getting pulled over by Israeli cops and having them let us pass while there was 5 very valid reasons for them to detain us, phew!
(im noticing a lot of my favorite experiences happened in cars...haha)
