About Me

CURRENT MISSION

buy the ticket, take the ride.

ABOUT ME

Just graduated from school, and I've up and moved to Boston to try out the east coast for a year or two, then I'm going to go somewhere else. . . I've been doing organized type things since I've come to Boston like softball teams and CS events and yoga classes. for fun I like to go somewhere that good music is playing, preferably by people with instruments, everything else usually falls into place after that.

PHILOSOPHY

Hard to put in a box, I think I get a new one all the time. Yes, I think my personal philosophy is outside of this box somewhere.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I mostly just look through the website for stuff to do. I wish I could host, but I can't right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went to Portland, OR, met some people, and Portland, ME, where I also met people. Surfed for a while. Been a host, but haven't lived in a good hosting house in a while.

Interests

music books chess magazines dance parties? Drinking coffee people with interesting different things to say

Music, Movies & Books

Whenever I have to answer questions like this I completely forget about what I like to watch/read/listen to.

But in general I like Radiohead, Leadbelly, Woody Guthrie, Duke Ellington, Flaming Lips, White Stripes, Gorillaz, Outkast, Animal Collective, Johnny Cash, a little bit of electronic music like DJ Shadow and Thievery Corporation, I don't know other stuff too.

I don't watch many movies but Woody Allen ones are usually entertaining enough, Godfather is good for high drama Science of Sleep. There Will Be Blood.

I'm reading Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace and it is awesome. I like Cormac McCarthy, Hunter S Thompson, Steinbeck, You Can't Win by Jack Black, Bukowski, Philip K Dick, Hemingway, I read War of the Worlds and Time machine by H.G. Wells once a year and never get sick of it.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I slept in a graveyard, that was pretty wild. Other stuff too, I think there's more scheduled somewhere.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you a few things about the piano, and I could probably talk more than you'd want me to about brains.

Countries I've Visited

Czech Republic, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I've Lived In

United States
