ABOUT ME

I love meeting people and sharing their stories. I love biking with as few gears as possible. I miss the darkroom, but a kitchen does a good job making up for the loss.

I have been working in journalism since graduating in 2006. My experience ranges from newspaper internships and staff positions to international news coverage and freelance photography and video production in Washington, DC. What I have learned along the way is how many similarities exist between people around the world. We all share certain needs and desires, particularly the desire for dignity. I am constantly amazed at the well of strength within the human spirit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used CS a couple years ago on a short trip to Minneapolis, MN for an assignment. The two couches I stayed on were fantastic and the experience was great overall. I'm looking forward to meeting more wonderful CS'ers!
