Do, or do not. There is no try.
I was born and raised in Tokyo.
After working for ten years, I just thought, "I wanna go surfing!". Then, I quit my job, went to San Diego in California, then stayed there for one year just for surfing. Now, I came back to Tokyo.
Travel is my life. Because I love to travel so much, I started my travel project, "Meetrip"!
At Meetrip, anyone who is willing to share their favorite local places and activities has opportunity to become a tour guide. You can explore “local usual” as well as “local secret” with them.
I believe that we can make the world a better place if more travelers meet and learn from local people, like CouchSurfing does. I respect how CouchSurfing is changing the world!
Music, Movies, and Books
"180 Degrees South" (2010)
It's a documentary film. You can trace the travel by Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins in 1968. After the journey, they founded respectively Patagonia and Northface.
"Les Aventuriers" (1967)
It's a French movie, performed by Alain Delon.
Whenever I watch this movie, I feel happy and think of the adventure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2010, I stayed in San Diego just to surf for one year. I surfed everyday, and I often enjoyed surfing with dolphins. It was wonderful experience.
