im a student in my third year at cambridge university but was born and raised on the costa del Devon. Im so laid back im almost horizontal and love meeting those who are interested and interesting, and think for themselves.

Interests

Music, listening a lot and playing a little.

Sport, watching a lot and playing what I can. Love tennis, play when I'm at home and love watching. Also follow football, rugby, darts (oh yes), cricket, road cycling (im sorry).. you get the picture. Also play hockey at university even though I fully admit it is a sport for women. Used to be cool and surf but that dream is over, go a bit when i'm at home but when im at uni i struggle to find any surf on the river cam...... i can ski, fast. but with very little style. im an ex rower.

Music, Movies, and Books

muusic, anything from Dylan to deep deep house to donk to debussy. Really eclectic taste and always looking for new things to listen to. love talking to people about music because no matter how much you think you've found everything you'll ever enjoy people will always put you onto new things.. as will gilles peterson. i love gilles peterson.

according to last.fm my most played artists are bonobo, bloc party, kings of leon, kings of convenience, the national, pheonix, nick drake, the rolling stones, the smiths, radiohead, quantic.. so even though i've got all the chat my taste is actually pretty mainstream!

bookswise.. i used to read a fair bit before i came to uni now i never find the time. i enjoyed great expectations, catch22, fight club, the kite runner, birdsong, the beach, snow falling on cedars, captain corelli's mandolin, plenty more i can't remember now.

as for films, i'll watch most things, loved the bournes, really liked the prestige, the usual suspects the first time i saw it.. traffic, pulp fiction, snatch,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

this summer..

climbed le mont ventoux on my bike. Enorme!

and danced from beautiful sunset til beautiful sunrise on a beach bar on the croatian coast at stopmakingsense festival. pure deep and groovy house and disco all night.
