About Me
After finishing our studies we decided to stay in Innsbruck and are both working here. During the week we are mainly busy inside with our jobs in tech and in a NGO. However, having the mountains right next door enables us to spend time outdoors even after work.
We both love being active in the nature and enjoy going on tours in our little campercar. Experiencing the nature in various ways and being accompanied by the people we love is the perfect day. Coming home after an adventure, a trip or a cold day in the snow and meeting friends in a pub or cooking together makes the day even better.
Who are we?
Tobias: Since my trip to the Kilimanjaro, mountains are an elemental part of my life. By being outside I make new experiences and find a balance for my other life as a software developer.
As a scout I experienced the joy of being outside with friends and getting to know new people and their way of life. I am still seeking for new experiences and want to learn more about the world, their people, nature and cultures.
I am truly inspired by happy people. I met so many people living completely different lives, facing very individual challenges. True happiness connects us all.
Esther: Living in Innsbruck has brought me to love mountains and the outdoors. I really enjoy being active in different ways like climbing, running, skiing, hiking and biking. For me being active is also a way to clear my mind and to order my thoughts.
I am a very happy and empathetic woman who is interested in humans. I love getting to know new ways of seeing, thinking and doing things. Having honest and deep conversations or discussions with people inspires me.
We are curious and eager to experience life. One of the best ways to get to know new countries and cultures is by getting to know new people. Travelling is the best opportunity to do that.
Couchsurfing is giving and taking, so if we are not travelling ourselves we always enjoy having people here.
Even if we don't have the biggest flat, we are happy to offer our home to guests.
