I'm in my late 30's having done quite a bit. I ski bummed for a couple years before going back to school. Got a mechanical engineering degree and worked in that field for about 6 years then got into software development. Spent some time to found a startup that was about understanding how the chemistry of cannabis affects people individually. Eventually landed back in the corporate world. Now I'm back on a self discovery mission, much like when I was ski bumming in my early years. I'm trying to go back out in the world to discover where I want my next impact to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to connect with wonderful people, share their world, and share my own, while also enjoying the outdoor world. I'm looking forward to connecting with people that love to ski, snowboard, mountain bike, sail and hike - folks that love being in the physical world. I hope that I can also share my sailing opportunities with folks, too. I recently restored a 1976 West Sail 42 sail boat and am excited to start exploring the world in 2024.

Interests

Anything that involves challenging gravity gets me. From snowboarding to biking. Throw a little wind in there too and I'm game for most anything. Have also been very into scuba diving lately too.
