I'm a pretty easy going guy, just graduated from a degree in Agriculture (kind of different I know) and now backpacking the world trying to see as much as I possibly can and trying to find those little things that no one else has seen or done or been to or even heard of (they do still exist). I'm into anything outdoorsy (is that even a word) and enjoying a casual beer (or 4) with interesting people from all over the world! The people, food and the scenery are the 3 things that make travelling incredible for me and that's why I love it so much!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to couch surf to meet more people, and meet a different kind of person to that which I meet so often in hostels, the sort of person who know what its like to live in that area and loves to show off what these best bits are. In return I will love explaining whats the best bits of where I'm from and why you should come!

Interests

I'm interested in walking, surfing, sailing, swimming, climbing, scuba diving, rugby, cricket and generally anything active, the more extreme the better. I also love chilling out with mates, having a few beers and if the weathers right (once a year in the UK) a BBQ!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not really fussy with music movies or books. I love old school rockers like the who but then have also recently got into house music, and love most things in between (hip hop not so much though).
Again I like all movies, from Lord of the Rings to Anchorman to Seven, and the same with books, I love that when I'm travelling I end up reading some really different books to what I would normally (war/action) and have learnt a lot and really enjoyed them.

I've traveled from the London to Shanghai without flying, it was incredible!

I'd love to share my travelling stories with my host and advice for visiting places I've been to as well as hearing theirs in return! I would love to learn to surf better, although I've surfed since I was 8 I'm still pretty shoddy!
