I am a 23 year old Australian currently studying for two semesters in Amsterdam. Back in Aus I study a double degree of Law / IT. Here in Amsterdam I am doing a course on the Internet of Things for one semester, and Big Data for the second.

I have only Couchsurfed once before and it was 4 years ago. I had a great experience however I naively didn't leave a reference and therefore didn't get one myself. Now I'm stuck with that ugly ZERO references on my page but please don't let that deter you!! I'm very eager to build my profile but I need someone to take a chance on me first. I'm a nice guy I swear!! 😂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to meet new people, get good information about a location and also save some money while traveling! I've only surfed once before and I had a great time!

Interests

I love to surf and snowboard, drink beer, meet new people, play video games, watch movies and relax. I love animals! Particularly dogs (I have two of my own back in Australia named Bozo and Knuckles) Accordingly, I enjoy any host with a pet that can alleviate how much I miss my boys! I'm also shamefully addicted to reddit and i'm a huge UFC fan.

Favorite music really depends on the mood I am in!
Here's just a few artists I enjoy: Alt-J, Rufus, Flume, Alpine, ZHU, AlunaGeorge, SBTRKT, Tame Impala, Artic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club, Kaytranada, Golden Features, Outkast, Jack Johnson, Sylvan Esso, Miike Snow, Jai Paul, Toro y Moi, Foals, Two Door Cinema Club, Jose Gonzalez, SAFIA, Hayden James, Disclosure, RL Grime, Vince Staples, Justice, Santigold, Cunninlynguists.

Many of those artists are Australian and if you haven't heard of them I'd love to show you! Trading tunes is one of my favorite things to do, especially with a new friend. That list of artists was a pretty random regurgitation of some of my faves, my interests run much deeper depending on the genre. For example, I don't mind getting into some golden oldies or 90's hiphop! I also love to hear something new!
