Proud portuguese from Lisbon. I work as a Social Media Manager for a Lisbon-based digital agency and I like to experiment and create new things - that's probably the reason I'm so into music and photography.
I lived in Macau for 4 months while doing an exchange program from my university and it opened my eyes to a whole new world that was far from reality in my head. Being able to travel in that part of our planet allowed me to meet a lot of open-minded people that always had something interesting and meaningful to share. That's the main reason why I love travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Initially to check out different acccomodation opportunities, especially because cost-wise it was amazing, but after I arranged a "couch" through this platform, I realized it's much more than saving! Me and my friends got tents in the coast of Croatia and we shared a camp with a lot of like-minded people. It was a remarkable experience and I owe that to the Couchsurf community and to my first host Didier! When you mix low-cost travelling with meeting amazing people, it's the best combo possible :)
My biggest interest right now is photography. I love walking around with a camera, it makes me happy :D
I love to travel, I've seen and met incredible places and people thanks to it. I'm always trying to find somewhere new to go!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not too picky with music, I listen to pretty much everything. Hip Hop, Jazz, Electronic music... Some of the artists I listen more right now are BadBadNotGood, BROCKHAMPTON, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Sensible Soccers and the list goes on!
Some of my favorite movies are Fight Club, Whiplash and, of course, Grand Budapest Hotel. I love Wes Anderson! I'm not a big fan of TV shows, I loved Mad Men and pretty much the only one I follow right now is Mr Robot.
I like to read but don't have a particular favourite genre, just whatever I find interesting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode a motorcycle through the Hai Van Pass in Vietnam
Watched the sunrise in Angkor Wat
Paragliding in Malaysia
Got lost in a mountain in Cambodia (it was only amazing once I finally knew where I was, after 2 hours)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Portuguese! I would love to share some typical portuguese or just yummy recipes but I have to admit I perform better on the eating rather than the cooking part.
From local cuisine to a particular skill or passion from the host I'm up for learning pretty much anything, as random as it could be. When I was in the Azores I learned some random facts about pineapples and it was awesome. Did you know they take 2 years to grow before you eat them? Boom, knowledge.
