ABOUT ME

I'm a Brit who currently lives in Paris and loves to travel. One of those people who's interested in everything and whose attention gets caught very easily. I love to discover new places and learn about the world. Since the end of student life and entering The Real World I'm particularly keen not to let go of the impulse to travel.

After a few years living in London and getting stuck in a rut my philosophy at the moment is to experience as many new things as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite sci-fi author is William Gibson. I also love classic literature from France and Germany. Movie-wise I'm happy with a bone-headed action blockbuster or something that will challenge me to think a bit more depending on my mood. Music-wise, all things electronic (especially minimal techno after living in Berlin for a year) but also rock, metal, baroque, a bit of hip-hop...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the French National Assembly the day the law legalising gay marriage was passed. I've never seen so many genuinely happy people in one place or politicians so visibly moved as on that day - and the party in Paris afterwards was something to see!
