Me and Charlotta (Lotta) are a active couple, who like outdoors. Our main hobby is geocaching. We have a small friendly 4 years old rescue dog to walk with us. My favorite thing is bicycling and via ferrata's. We have 4 kids (2 of them are my kids and 2 Lotta's) aged 13-19 and usually kids are with us every EVEN weekend, so those weekends we are unable to host anyone. Weekdays are mostly ok. If you like rock climbing, there is a small rock wall (10-15m) nearby, where you can practice for free. We also like to make small trips to nearby national parks or other places, just to have a little fresh air. You are welcome to join!

Interests

Hiking, sci-fi movies/series, bicycling and camera drones. I am also minimalist, I don't collect anything and live very simple life. I think about environment and climate. I don't watch tv or listen to the radio, so I am kind a "tapped out" from commercials and news feeds. I like to think with my own brains instead. I read every nature, science and technology magazine I can get my hands on and make my own decisions based on information I myself collect from multiple sources.

Think deeply and respect the Sun and we will be good friends! Please teach me YOGA if you practice it. Please note, that if you keep staring at your cellphone all the time or if you are not interested in conversation, I will respect your privacy, but you get bad reference. While you are here, it would be appreciated if you can participate somehow a little bit in our life (cooking, playing, going out, teaching something to us etc.) and communicate with our kids if they are present. My daughter speaks fluent Japanese, so if you can too, you might want to check if she is present at the time of your request. Remember to respect the concept of Couchsurfing :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Open minded talks, teach finnish and english language. I know a whole lot about retail business, management and recruiting. I really am super-effective cleaner (my home is clean too) and I can repair bicycles :). I also can tell you a lot about astronomy, Geology, weather phenomenon and other areas of science. Lotta is a language teacher (swedish) and she is specialized in knitting.

We are bad at cooking, but good at talking :)
