Hey my name's Tommy, I'm from England and soon moving to Adelaide to begin a PhD in Bioengineering. I am heading over to Adelaide a couple of weeks before my course starts to find my feet as well as search for permanant accomodation. During this time I was hoping to partake in couch surfing so I can meet some new people who know the area as well and hopefully make some new friends.

Interests

Outside of the academic uni stuff I'm really into music. I play guitar and sing and love gigs and live musical in general. I love travelling and have lived in and visited a fair bunch of countries. I'm trying to get into cooking and the healthy lifestyle thing but that still requires some fine tuning. I'm also pretty into comedy shows.

Music, Movies, and Books

With regards to favourite music I'm a bit of an emo but I also like a pretty wide range of rocky stuff in general. I'm more of a TV show kinda guy but some movies I love are Butterfly Effect, Shaun of the Dead, In Bruges as well as recently discovering how awesome Pulp Fiction is. This year I have read 3 books about rockstars and now I am reading a Steven King book about time travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 13 I won a drawing competition and my drawing of the singer from Sum 41 was on the cover of one of their singles in the UK. Perhaps I peaked then?
