ABOUT ME

For years I fought my natural desire to explore, to see and taste new things, places, experiences. After decades of inner turmoil, trying to somehow assimilate the insane drudgery of the rat race, I've took the plunge and accepted that I am and always was an explorer and a nomad. In my heart, I'm never more excited than when I'm headed out, to another new place, not knowing a single soul there, and never knowing what tomorrow might bring. Combat vets know that the closer you live life to the edge, the easier it is to be able to take pleasure in simple things. I think they're on to something.
I got rid of most of my possessions, everything I own in the world would easily fit into the bed of a pickup truck, far less room w/o my bike. It is amazing how tied we become to our possessions and how they almost end up owning us. Severing that tie, even only partially, can be an amazingly freeing experience.

I can say that so far, it's been an interesting journey.
