Overview
About Me
British, with a very soft spot for Greece.
Have been renovating this small house, and now the dust from the rubble has cleared can safely say it's a neat little spot.
I've traveled fairly consistently around Europe and further afield.
A wild few-month hitchhike last year from Bulgaria through Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova to home in Hungary. For the last 6 years have lived between Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest and Greece.
I've also started a company bringing home-pressed olive oil from from Greece, which gives me an excuse to hang out in olive groves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The highlight of my pre-couchsurf traveling was always that chance encounter with a local, who'd show you the place from their perspective, maybe invite you to their house, and leave you feeling you knew town so much better than had you stuck to the lonely planet and their recommended best burger.
Couchsurfing really revolutionised my traveling, and after a few trips and repeatedly being wowed by strangers, I was finally in a situation to host - Unfortunately remote Peloponnese doesn't see that many tourists in know of Couchsurfing, but it's been such a treat to host and explore with the people I have hosted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
witnessing the transition from alien to sibling at the birth of my little brother and sister (and doing a sloppy job on the cutting of the latter's umbilical chord).
