About Me
Hi! My friend told me about couchsurfing.com and good experiences he had with it years back, and I've finally decided to check it out.
I got a chance to take a job in California doing registration to vote and petitions for the California ballot, so I've been traveling up and down CA for the election year.
I was already pretty impressed with hosts on AirBnB, so thought I really should check this out.
Once I am done collecting all these petitions and exploring California this year, I'm going to try and get into computer science in the hopes that I can score more travel time in the future(because CA was a great experience already). Already semi-fluent in HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, SQL, but I could still be a lot better.
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile, and if you accept me a guest in your home thank you very much!
P.S. - I'm pretty 420 friendly, and will always come prepared. =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard good things, and actually enjoyed experiences with competing sharing services, so now I'm interested in seeing some more of them.
Meet cool people, learn about local areas, and not paying a bucket of money for a hotel sounds wonderful!
As much as I would like to chill, I do have work most days while I'm in town unfortunately.
Interests
I love to be competitive, but typically so everyone involved can flex and grow their strength in different things. Winning isn't bad, but becomes secondary to the Game after a while.
- basketball
- hockey
- videogames
- exploration
- computers
- learning in general
- reading(sci-fi
- reading (fantasy also)
Music, Movies, and Books
Terry Goodkind
Terry Pratchett
Robert Jordan
Timothy Zahn
Chuck Pahliunuk
Many many more authors
Electronic music mostly, some alternative and rock. Most of my music is actually kind of weird and very rarely has lyrics. =) I just like feel-good tunes.
Been watching more tv shows then movies lately, I find I like a long developing story more than a quick adventure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Actually helped save an elderly lady's life earlier last year, which was very cool(considering it worked out, it was super scary at the time). It's a long story involving anime costumes and Comic-Con, torrential Florida Downpour, and getting stranded on an impromptu island in the middle of what was my neighborhood.
We didn't ever get to Comic Con, but we did our hero costumes proud.(This adventure was with best friend.)

Wowzers, what would you put in this box?
I love conversating and figuring out how people work. Let's have a talk and figure this box out!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, 420, time/experience... I'm a little new to Couchsurf, so not super keen on what's expected, but I will do my best to be the best guest you've had yet. =)
