About Me

ABOUT ME

I've really started appreciating my home comforts and spending time with my old friends and family, but I still love a good adventure!

When I'm not at home, I really enjoy meeting new people from all different walks of life and enjoy the new experiences this can bring.

I apperciate good friends in life built on trust, honesty and someone who you can have a right laugh with!

Im very down to earth, sociable, easy to get along with, respectful and I like to have a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you would like to know anything about English culture or way of life then just ask cos I've spent the last 24 years in this place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had previous couch surfing experiences although that was through a friend before I created this profile. Ive stayed at a couch surfing hostel in Barcalona and at a flat in Maseille and Aix-en-Provence. I found the hosts to be very trusting of us. In Aix-en-Provence the kind host thoughtfully showed us around town and took us out to dinner....bless!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I have a very eclectic taste when it comes to music- recently though Ive been listening to alot of R&B and dance music.

Reading - Again, I have a very wide ranging taste. My last book I read was a factual story about the 1987 Kings Cross fire in London, the book I read before that was a Daphne Du Maurier book - totally different!

Films- Yet again, I cannot say I like a particular genre of of film- anything goes! I do like a good old classic though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think witnessing 24 hours daylight in Greenland was pretty amazing for me!

Teach, Learn, Share

mmm well I think languages are a great place to start. I'm teaching English in Saudi so know a thing or two about grammar so I'm sure I can try and help you out if thats what youre looking for. I'm also very interested in language learning - particularly French and Arabic so I would appreciate anyone with these language skills.

If you have anything else you'd like to show me - then go ahead! I'm a learning freak and love studying etc !
