About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find ways to become a functioning travel junkie while still being horribly poor.

ABOUT ME

Alllll about me... Hm. Started this profile before I left for Europe last year in search of a couch, but didn't find one. It worked out for the best though, and i had the time of my life. Currently, I'm still yearning to travel more more more. I live in a coop with LOTS of couches, and cool housemates, but only til the end of the semester. I'm taking this year off of school to apprentice at A-Valve studios (www.a-valve.com), where I'm learning to be a producer/audio engineer. It'll be pretty delightful. Feel free to come rock out with me in Austin any time; even if I can't offer you a couch, I'd be more than happy to help show you around town! Too young to take anyone over 21 to any bars, but there's a lot of other stuff to do certainly! (I can't think of anything else interesting to say about myself right now that doesnt sound like hippie crap.)

PHILOSOPHY

Life...wow. Everything happens for a reason. Perhaps it's not all planned, but it's all certainly a domino effect. Every event is connected some how, and if you look deep enough, there is something humorous to everything, good and bad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went couch surfing around my town for about a month when I was sixteen, when my parents split up. I couldn't stand to be around my house, and I was lucky enough to have extremely gracious friends who felt it was time to pay back their couch surfing debt to society. Couches are magnificent. I love them. They make me feel comfy.

Interests

Complete utter stupidity followed up with bouts of whiney soul searching and then giving up all together and figuring "Meh I'm late for work." Small furry animals. Well produced albums. Curing the common bladder infection so I can go about drinking too much coffee and not worry about it. Muffins. Cooperative Living. Delightful stuff. And things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite band of all time is the Who, absolutely! I like stupid comedies, books about dead people, and rock and roll that has a hard marching-band-esque thump to its beat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first night in London was the night Liverpool won the world football championship or whatever. As I walked around Picadilly circus, this low rumble started. Slowly, they started emerging from the pubs, like zombies... "LLLIIIIVVVVERRRPPPPOOOOOOLLLL LLLL" they groaned, all the drunk young lads, groaning, yelling, slowly staggering, slowly becoming more animated... And of course there was that time Allan Williams heckled me... or that spur of the moment two week trip to New York... eh, too many.
