Hear and be heard
I love to travel, especially driving! It is the best way to see the scenery and have a feel for the ambiance and energy that emanates from a place, meeting local people and learn about their culture and lives.
In the summer 2013, I drove from New York to Los Angeles, through South East, then Nevada, and Arizona. It was one of the happiest moments in my life ! I think I have a Gipsy mentality" inside me, although a "bourgeois" kind of a gipsy ! LOL
This time, I am planning to visit Spain, the Costa del Sol. I would love to meet nice people there and know more about the deep culture of the South of Spain, a such old country !
I am American and French, a teacher and an interior designer !
I love all the good things in life: music, healthy food, literature, theater (coming plays mostly), old movies, Music (classical, Operas and between the 50's and 90's). I do not like rap music.
I have a few hobbies, among them modern technologies (I build computers). I am also very much interested in science, psychology, anthropology, human development, medicine, archeology, History, and Arts.
Last but not the least, I love to cook some nice French recipes for my friends and give a taste of my French native language to people who request it.
I have a "cool" and easy going attitude with an open mind and a lot of respect and tolerance regarding people's privacy, belongings, and ways of life.
I hope I can get to know you.
Thank you very much for your kind reply and consideration.
My best wishes to you and your family

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cooked my first turtle once when I was 18 years old: It was alive and when I put it in the boiling water, it turned over and fell on the floor, still alive: it was horrible. I still didn’t forget the experience and since then I never cooked a turtle or lobster again. So please don't ask me ! Lol.
The second great experience in my life was when experienced life in America !
Teach, Learn, Share
There is a song by a French Author, Jean Gabin - the principal actor in the original "les Miserables", who said at the end of his life:
"je sais, je sais, mais je ne sais rien".
This means " I thought I knew it all, but at the end, and at my old age and about to die, I came to learn that I know and knew nothing in fact.
I think this is absolutely true
