I love meeting people, hearing their life stories and experiences, exploring, reflecting on my place in the world, and just marvelling at being alive.

I studied politics, and looking at moving into counseling psychology... interested in holistic therapy!

I am a pretty active person who enjoys many kinds of movement and sports. I am most at home practicing in a Jivamukti yoga studio or when I am improvising in a Gaga class. Well, the only other place I maybe feel more at home is the sea. I absolutely love being in the sea - exploring rocks, caves, and being one with the earth.

I have been getting into the FIRE movement over the course of 2019.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the couchsurfing project is a fabulous initiative that allows people to share their lives in such a genuine way. It is based in a real spirit of trust in others and that is a mindset I really subscribe to. I've both surfed and hosted! I attend local events when possible. All my experiences have been positive. I'm inspired by the generosity and openness I've been exposed to through people I've stayed with and met through this site.

Now that my boyfriend and I are living together in Florence, Italy we are hoping to start hosting together as soon as we move to a new place with a little more space. I am really looking forward to hosting again!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite show is Bojack Horseman. Recently I have been watching Chef's Table and am pretty into that too.

As far as music goes, some of my favourites: Arcade Fire, Beirut, Christian Loeffler, Max Cooper, Paul Kalkbrenner, Rival Consoles, Kiasmos, Dauwd, Ten Walls, Hauschka ... and sometimes I bring back some Vampire Weekend or The Killers. Definitely need a lil bit of Lizzo from time to time too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was rescued by helicopter with my best friend on a mountain in Switzerland. Maybe not the most amazing in a traditional sense, but certainly memorable.. grateful to be alive that is for sure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach dance, movement type of stuff... could definitely teach some yoga if you are a beginner. I have been told I give pretty decent neck massages as well.

I'm really interested in learning to cook dishes specific to different countries and regions. I'd like to gain far more musical knowledge than I already have. And the list goes on!
