COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a great deal when I have been travelling and I have always hosted people from different parts of the world although it has not been labelled as couchsurfing.

Centres d'intérêt

RIght now I dance A LOT! Caribbean and West African dances like dancehall, reggae and coupe decale.
I am also very socially interested and I care about what is going on in the society. I wish we could fight all of the nasty homophobia, racism and hatred I see around me daily. I consider myself a feminist and if you can't handle that, then don't bother writing to me. I consider the most important thing we can build our society on to be respect and solidarity. We must learn to treat each other with respect despite different cultures, lifestyles, gender, religion, skin color and so on. Multiculturalism is my religion and I believe that a culturally diverse society is something to strive for.

I want to explore and see different cultures from all parts of the world. Other things I also enjoy are cooking veggie food, handicrafts and creating things with my hands.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: Everything with alot of rhythm! I'm really into dancehall and reggae, and actually am (though I would not ever admit it) starting to let my body groove to reggaeton. That wouldn't ever have crossed my mind just a short while ago.
Otherwise, I enjoy all kinds of music. My sense of music is very broad and since music is one of my top interests I never miss out a chance of broadening it even more.
My favorite genres right now:
old school dancehall, neo-soul, hip-hop, reggae, coupe decale, desert blues

Movies: documentaries, indie films, no Hollywood,

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The sea-fire at the cliffs of Koster in Bohuslän in 1998 maybe? I was 7 or something. There is a feeling very hard to describe, when you jump into the ocean in the middle of the night when the moon is full and the water around you starts glistening and shining in light blue.

Another one is a mineral massage in the hot springs in the mountains of east Jamaica. We arrived quite late in evening and the sun had already gone down so the only light we saw was hundreds of blinkys and fireflies flying around. The massage was soo nice and I advice anyone going to Jamaica to do it!
