ABOUT ME

I'm a creative animal-loving individual who wants to improve the world, not just by myself- I want others to light their candles from my flame of hope and knowledge. I believe the meaning of life is to fight for love- true love. For equality, for empathy, and happiness. Fight for the future, for your fellow man. Fight for those who cannot yet fight on their own. We are all in this together- this pale blue dot is our only home in the universe and we have a responsibility to take care of it.

All forms of art, animals, aquariums and marine biology, books, scientific journals, nature, astronomy, being in the moment, meeting new people, talking to people, sharing knowledge and life experiences, sharing free knowledge and learning/teaching new skills. Talking to wildlife, feeling connected to the Earth and the universe.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent summer of 2009 doing wildlife research in Brazil. It was hard work but one of the most amazing times in my life.

Recently I walked up to a mother deer and her spotted fawn. I saw them off the front porch in a side yard and went to talk to them. I got about 7ft from the mother until a large SUV came barreling down the road. Still a pretty cool moment I think...
