About Me
It won't take long before realizing that it takes very little to make me laugh. Not because I have really low standards for humor (well, that too), but mostly because I don't take too much seriously aside from my family/friends, and my work.
I try to be considerate, easygoing, and friendly...unless you're my opponent in Scrabble or Settlers of Catan.
I grew up in California before living and working in a village in Burkina Faso. From then on, I continued being a broad living abroad. Now, like the initials in my name, I'm working as a teaching assistant while trying to learn Spanish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When traveling, I enjoy learning and sharing experiences with people who actually call that place home. I'd like to offer the same to guests who visit my place.
Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
My favorite genres are doo-wop and embarassing 80's and 90's music. I'll pretty much listen to anything though. At the risk of sounding hashtag basic, I'll admit that I'm even into over-played radio hits.
MOVIES:
Back to the Future, Before Sunrise/Sunset, Casablanca, Il Postino, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
BOOKS:
Born a Crime, Fahrenheit 451, Persepolis, Watchmen, The Phantom Tollbooth :D
TV:
Mad Men, Broad City, Un village français, Killing Eve, The Sopranos, The OC (no shame!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Experiences- I'm usually down for whatever's clever, useless fun facts, language practice.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Burkina Faso, France, French Guiana, South Korea, Spain, United States
