About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live, live, live! Life is a buffet, and some suckers are starving!

ABOUT ME

Looking at the small "about me" box on this page, I am forced to abbreviate my existence into a blurred, fuzzy, and rough-edged snapshot. Therefore, to begin this self-photography, I like to consider myself as decently cultured through the people, books, films, art, and distant cities I have encountered throughout my twenty-two years. I basically try to constantly explore life through a new and different perspective.

Emotionally, I know myself to be a romantic at heart and a humanist in spirit. I greatly value quality over quantity in everything, for example, having fifteen great friends will always beat thirty good acquaintances. This follows in-line with my believes of simplicity over complexity, becoming more eco-friendly, and health conscious.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that there is no past-life, and no after-life; there is only this life. Therefore, I try to experience everything I desire, because once I'm dead, that's it! Life is meant to be full of passion, ecstasy, and contentment...

Interests

Like a book of hobbies, my interests are diverse and somewhat cliché. Travelling is my first love because experiencing another society with an overwhelming sense of culture-shock makes me feel most alive and aware of the surrounding world. In this transit state, I receive the most lucid views on life. Besides travelling, I adore photography as it captures a new perspective into something tangible that I can show to others. Art history, I will admit, feeds this passion, as I learn from the past masters of image-making and as everyone knows, we can only build upon what has preceded.

Socially, I enjoy hosting a salon, where my friends and their friends can share a cup of tea, or something stronger, while conversating about the latest scandal, newest inspiration, and freshest concept. Such subjects could include the Grand 18th. Century, b+w classic films, and costume period drama.

Athletically, I greatly adore rock-cliff climbing, canoeing, swimming, and lifting weights. I believe in the ancient Greek model of exercising the mind and the body.
