It may be your and/or my sole purpose in life to simply serve as a warning to others.
I'm a 29-year-old mixed-heritage German-Irish guy with a bicycle who plays the piano, cooks his own food and asks a lot of questions.
If you hate a person, you hate something in them that is part of yourself. What isn't part of ourselves doesn't disturb us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I do the basic thing for the CS Project: Couch-surf alone or with others. And I do invite people to join in for a visit, stay-over or even a trip ;-)
I am fortunately being allowed the privilege of enjoying many opportunities to stay with great people, be it using CouchSurfing, on WarmShowers.org, or just by asking someone whether I could stay over at their place or even being spontaneously invited straight off the road while travelling.
Getting to know different people in different parts of the world also becomes enjoyable through being part of a motivated community that warmheartedly educates me on the understanding of intercultural issues.
This is a huge benefit of the experiences I am making on CouchSurfing.
I like to make music - I play the piano - mainly works from the beloved Johann Sebastian Bach, in my eyes/ears the creator of the fundamentals of what I would myself consider to be music to the excellence of human spirit; sounds and harmonics the whole person can dive into and evolve from; I've also started doing photography as a hobby.
I'm also interested in advancing my understanding in the connecting areas of life in the fields of economics, business, science, culinary art (cooking - I enjoy good healthy organic food), politics, religion, history and especially ancient history, art, literature, investigative journalism; archaeology, futurology, astronomy.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love the music all across from the age of enlightenment straight up to now; I enjoy distinguished easy listening tunes from the 80's; I watch more YouTube-stuff than movies these days, and read way more online than I do classical books - a sign of being an internet Junky, I guess...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled through the desert with winter tires on my cheap old bicycle, got through a sandstorm and found a travelling bicycle parts sales guy in the middle of the desert to sell me a new chain after the sandstorm ruined the old one. Traveled through Asia with my travel bicycle for a long time, also traveled straight through Taifuns and other serious weather and through hardcore communist-infested areas in the back-country in places like the Philippines that even locals were afraid to venture into.
