I am trying to find my calling. There are so many things I love to do and more that I would love to do. I just try to take one oportunity at a time.

ABOUT ME

I grew up on a small farm in Boise, Idaho I developed my love and respect for animals, nature, the outdoors, and the simple things in life.

I went to school on the remote Upper Peninsula of Northern Michigan. The extreme climates let me enjoy a wide range of activities from beach volleyball and rock climbing/cliff jumping to snow shoeing/sledding, ice surfing, and all things outdoors.

I will always value the human spirit and work to live/not live to work.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone is different but we each have somthing to offer one another. I like to learn, share, and understand more about people and what drives them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love playing tour guide and showing people new things. I have had a few friends visit me from out of state and I pride myself on sharing the best of what Boise and the state Idaho have to offer. I especially love sharing the outdoor active scene but I also know my way around the downtown city scene and can cater to all kinds of interests from the Birds of Prey Sanctuary to the Boise Art Museum.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchSurfed through England, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, and Greece with my sister in fall 2011. I met some amazing people, saw incredible things and fell in love with travel.

Interests

I love everything about the outdoors. I like to be active and look for beauty in the world around me in every form. I am a very social creature and I love to be around people, make new friends, and just have a friendly interaction with everyone I encounter.
Rock climbing is my new biggest kick.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge movie buff! I like movies that make you think or through you off from the norm but all that I ask from a movie is to be entertained. Some of my favorites are Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Unknown (2006), Lady Hawk, Way of the gun, and many others.
My taste in Music is very wide but I mostly listen to any form of rock: softer tones like The Eels, the Kin, Lucero, as well as faster rock: like the Silversun Pickups, Safetysuit, Kasabian, Muse, and of course the classics such as Led Zed Zeppelin and Duran Duran.

I try not to read much, school has ruined me. But all time favorites like The Power of One, Of Mice and Men, and The Giver will always be exceptions.
