Hey! We're a young couple (Trevor and Sela) who have an insatiable curiosity for the world around us. We're always up for a good adventure, down to party, make new friends, gain new perspective, learn more, and make life-lasting memories. We're extremely open-minded, easy going, and up for a good conversation. We've been together for a little over three years, and have a cuddleball of a cat named Paul. Paul is extremely clean, friendly, Zen, and he loves the outdoors. He's bathroom-trained and declawed. Oh, and he's also down to party.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've always wanted to travel, and not too long ago, we decided now was as good a time as any! So we've been traveling through the country (on an extremely limited budget) seeing and learning what we can. This site was recommended to us by a friendly stranger. Since we can't afford nightly stays at a hotel, and since we're eager to learn about/from different walks of life, we decided to give this cool site a try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just last week or so, we survived our first winter camping trip, in 12 degree weather in a make-shift tent made up of a tarp and a tent COVER. We had a great time and came out feeling more badass.

I (Sela) have been studying tarot, astrology, gemstones, heightened awareness and perception, meditation techniques, chakras, palmistry, tea leaf reading, and other such metaphysical skills and concepts. I'm definitely willing to share and swap information I've accumulated if wanted.
Trevor is excellent at guitar, great artist, very interested in stand-up comedy, great driver, has a real knack for making people laugh in any situation, wonderful with pets.
We're interested in learning more about gardening, sustainable living, carpentry, cooking, farming, welding, surfing and just about anything else
